Responsible for configuring, installing and maintaining IDNX / Promina network with speeds up to OC3 for the Air Combat Command Enterprise Network.  Used HP Openview monitoring systems to track all scheduled and unscheduled network outages. Working with various Promina Series (200,400,800) systems maintaining two types of Cisco Routers (7000 and 2500 series) and ForeView system ATM switches (ASX-1200 and ASX-200BX).  Coordinated with commercial vendors (Bell Atlantic, GTE, MCI, US West, Electra, etc) and providers for maintenance.

Performed network management and fault isolations for the Defense Information System Agency Network (DISN).  Responsibility include administering a 25 node Sonet network of Tellabs Titan 5500 bandwidth manager switches which provides backbone T1 access for DISN.  In addition, 12 Nortel’s DMS-100 Super Nodes (PBX) were utilized. Used Remedy, Foreview and HP Openview monitoring systems to track all scheduled and unscheduled network outages perform troubleshooting isolation via Cerjac testing equipment for T1 related issues.  Issued and modified performance management commands via Titans 5500 for circuit and network status. Test and coordinate with the Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) and field techs (Verizon, Lucent, Quest) to ensure equipment and circuit components CSU/DSU/NIU and functional and operational.
